Pray by Color!
Use the basic eight colors in a crayon box to focus your prayers for back to school! Set out a box of crayons to remind you to pray for your child or grandchild. As you pray on each theme by color, fill in one band of the rainbow at a time with the corresponding color. See it completed at the end, and remind yourself that our God has beautiful plans!
Would you like to walk through the same prayer themes with your children? We’ve included a kid-friendly version, as well! Pray over one theme a day with your kids, and encourage them to color in the rainbow one band at a time. Once you’ve finished praying through each focus, hang their completed rainbow on the fridge. Remind one another that God uniquely created each of us and our children for different purposes, and we are all part of God’s big, beautiful plans!
