ABIDE Prayer: God’s Faithfulness
The purpose of ABIDE is to seek God through prayer, rely on the Spirit as we gather together, and pray with unity and purpose. ABIDE prayers are Scripture-led and Spirit-focused prayers.
There is so much going on in our world today. Changes, challenges, trials and pain are a part of all of our lives. The enemy would love for God’s children to walk through this time in our lives with our focus on our circumstances and not our God. Let’s begin our ABIDE by asking God to help us focus on Him.
Prayer: God, we need you. Help us focus our thoughts and our hearts on you. Remove any distraction, confusion and discouragement from the enemy from us in the name of Jesus. We worship you and bow to you alone. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Prayers of Remembrance
“For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” (Psalm 57:10)
Let’s take a moment in prayer and thank God for who He is and remember His faithfulness in our lives.
Prayer: God, thank you that you are _____________ and thank you that you’ve shown your faithfulness to me/us through _____________ (recall times in your life when God showed you His faithfulness).
Prayers for God’s Help
“Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them – the LORD, who remains faithful forever.” (Psalm 146:5-6)
God promises to bless us when we ask and receive His help and put our hope in Him! Let’s ask God to help us and put our hope in Him.
Prayer: God, we need your help with _________________ and need you to help us put our hope in you.
Prayers of Surrender
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.” (Psalm 145:13)
When we walk through various trials and difficulties in life, we can receive God’s peace, comfort and strength when we focus on God and His promises. God’s Kingdom is everlasting. God is faithful to his promises. God is loving towards us.

Closing Prayer: God, thank you for your faithfulness. We worship you. We trust you. We declare that you are faithful, good, loving and your Kingdom endures forever. Thank you that you are with us and that we have all that we need in you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
