ABIDE Prayer: God’s Power
The purpose of ABIDE is to seek God through prayer, rely on the Spirit as we gather together, and pray with unity and purpose. ABIDE prayers are Scripture-led and Spirit-focused prayers.
As God’s sons and daughters, we need to remember that our Father is all-powerful and He gives us His power through the Holy Spirit. We can experience hope, peace, strength and joy because our God is all-powerful and His Spirit lives in us!
Prayers of Celebration
Let’s begin ABIDE with prayers celebrating and remembering what Jesus Christ did at the Cross and how our lives are forever changed because of the Cross.

Question: Where do you need the Spirit’s power in your life? What are you attempting to do in your strength instead of asking the Spirit to help you? Where do we need the Spirit’s power released in our families, church, community and nation?

Closing Prayer: Lord, we worship you as King of Kings and LORD of LORDS. You are all-powerful and you’ve poured out your Spirit in us! Thank you for the incredible gift of your Spirit. Help us and teach us to walk by the Spirit and rely on the Spirit’s power within us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
